In May ZubrOFFka presented its films at Shorts&Docs Film Festival in Reykjavik. We saw some fantastic films, too (“Mission to Lars”, “The World Not Ours”), tried local delicacies (legendary lobster soup at Seabaron is a must) and met lots of wonderful people (birds of a feather flock with Heather:-). We also went on a whale watching tour to discover one of the country’s best kept secrets: there are no whales in Iceland… but who cares. All in all, great festival in an inspiring place. Well, we even wrote a song (the tune is from Monty Python’s “Finland, Finland, Finland”)
Iceland, Iceland, Iceland
The country where I want to be
Shark eating, whale watching
Though there’s no whale to see
Iceland, Iceland, Iceland
It’s the country for me
Iceland, Iceland, Iceland
The country where I want to be
Drinking brennivin, spring bathing,
Playing chess, shearing sheep
Iceland, Iceland, Iceland
Iceland marry me
