Péter Vácz
Award-winning animation director from Budapest, Hungary. He graduated from MOME with his film ‘Rabbit and Deer’ (2013) which has won over 125 festival awards. Since then Péter created two award-winning stop-motion music videos (All I’m Saying & Dear John) for the famous British rock band James. His debut live-action short film ‘Pillowface’ had its international premier at the prestigious Warsaw Film Festival in 2018. Besides his professional work Péter also teaches animation practice and theory and runs workshops internationally.

„I’ll present and talk about how I make my animated films in which I often mix different techniques ranging from 2d to stop-motion and puppet animation, and sometimes even live-action. In addition to that I will show some of my illustrations where I also try crossing the borders”.
