Platige Image, created by 300 artists and experts, specializes in computer graphics, 3D animation and digital visual effects for film, entertainment, education, advertising and computer games. It has won more than 200 awards and honours, such as BAFTA, EFA, Goya, SIGGRAPH festival awards and nominations for the Oscars, Palme d’Or and Golden Lions.
Platige Image creates original films and productions, and is also a producer and co-producer. Its portfolio includes full-length and short films, animations, TV series and their leads, as well as the most famous titles (“Katyń” by A. Wajda, “Melancholia” or “Antichrist” by L. von Trier). The studio creates short films and already its first work – ,,The Cathedral” by Tomasz Baginski – winning an Oscar nomination (2003), made Platige Image famous in the world of artistic films and opened the way to subsequent projects. ,,Undo” , “The Art of Falling”, “The Ark”, “The Cinematograph”, “Paths of Hate” or “Miazmat” won recognition from audiences, critics and jurors at the world’s most important film competitions and festivals.
Platige Image also produces cinematics for computer games and is one of the global leaders in this field. The first was the trailer promoting CD Projekt RED’s game , “The Witcher”, followed by: ,,Halo 5” for Microsoft, ,,Watch Dogs 2” and ,,Skull & Bones” for Ubisoft, ,,Total War” for Maverick Media, ,,Crossfire HD” for Smilegate or the “Call of Duty” series for Acitivison. The studio’s history is also made up of important film projects. In 2010, the ,,Animated History of Poland” was created for the Shanghai EXPO exhibition and ,,City of Ruins”, the first digital reconstruction of a demolished city realized in stereoscopy for the Warsaw Uprising Museum. Other projects include the animation “Hero and message” for a Qatari government agency, the series , “Polish Legends by Allegro”, , “Another day of life” by Damian Nenow and Raúl de la Fuente and , “Fish Night”, an episode of the animated anthology , “Love, Death & Robots” for Netflix. The ,,The Witcher” series co-created by the Platige Image team for Netflix premiered in 2019, and the studio has since continued its collaboration with the streaming platform.

Jarosław Sawko is a film producer and chairman of the supervisory board at Platige Image. He worked on highly acclaimed films and animations as a producer and coproducer. Among the numerous titles he contributed to, there is „Cathedral” nominated for the Oscars, „Fallen Art” awarded with BAFTA, „Cinematograph” and „Polish Legends Allegro” – all directed by Tomek Bagiński. He established the thriving VFX department. In his portfolio are visual effects for such titles as „Antichrist” and „Melancholia” directed by Lars von Trier, „Wonder Woman” by Patty Jenkins, „Essential Killing” by Jerzy Skolimowski or „Katyn” by Andrzej Wajda.
The most significant title in his production portfolio is „Another Day Of Life” coproduced by Platige Films. The hybrid of animation and documentary, co-directed by Damian Nenow and Raul De La Fuente, premiered at the Festival de Cannes, where it aroused the applause of film critics and viewers. It also opened the door to the film’s international career – ‘Another Day Of Life’ was shown at the most important film festivals worldwide and entered cinemas in numerous countries across the globe. The movie was awarded the European Film Award for Best Animated Feature Film and the Goya Award for Best Animated Film.
