As a film festival committed to fostering dialogue between Portugal and CEE, BEAST proudly presents the return of its “Portuguese Abroad” programme – this year highlighting outstanding animated films co-produced between Portugal and Eastern European countries. This carefully curated selection explores a variety of languages and artistic approaches, where diverse styles often intersect to address universal concerns, all while celebrating the unique cultural perspectives of the filmmakers and their international teams.
