Afterparty with beluga ryba after the Music Video competition

beluga ryba is the solo musical project of Jędrzej Dudek – a producer, vocalist, and songwriter, co-founder of beluga stone and P.Unity, who has been part of Warsaw’s independent music scene for over a decade.

Blending a love of offbeat rap, psych-folk, soul, and sonic experimentation, beluga ryba carves out its own niche between modern beat music and the singer-songwriter and guitar traditions. In its studio form, the project combines samples, live instruments, and vocal textures to create a dense backdrop for both spoken and sung lyrics.

Live, beluga ryba takes the shape of a three-piece band. Guitar, bass, and drums intertwine with samples and reverb-soaked vocals, drawing the audience into a kind of hypnotic trance. The performances maintain full sonic continuity, flowing seamlessly through seemingly distant moods and stylistic references – from ambient, soothing textures to noisy, stoner-style riffs.
