Chilean Film Breakfast

December 8, 11:30
Fama club, 5 Legionowa Street
tickets: 8 PLN – available at the Forum cinema’s box office and on bilety.bok.bialystok.pl

Coorganiser: Punkrobot Studio + Gran Via Spanish Language School

Is there anything better first thing in the morning than a delicious empanada and aromatic coffee for breakfast? Of course! Shorts from Chile! Chilean filmmakers have been frequenting international festivals for a long time, conquering the hearts of audiences and getting the biggest international awards.

Our Breakfast’s program includes, among others, the Oscar winning “Bear Story”, the honored at the Cinéfondation competition in Cannes (2018) “El verano del león eléctrico” (“The Summer of the Electric Lion”) or the presented at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival surrealistic animated video by Claire Cronin – “The Unnatural”.

Thanks to the funny and numerously awarded at many animation festivals cartoon “The Gift” we will learn a lot about relationships and love. “Here’s the plan”, in turn, the best Chilean animated short film of 2017, will remind us that life can also write bitter scripts. We will also watch Film Festival in Toulouse-awarded “Casi Famoso”, a comedy based on real life experiences about the unexpected, misunderstandings and failure.
So, there will surely be no shortage of cinematographic emotions especially if we reinforce them with a glass of excellent Chilean wine and our love for film!
