Eastern pleasure + panel discussion

This is the way we drink in the east – these are the lyrics of a popular Polish song. We are going to show you the way we live in the east!

We invite everyone who wants to experience the taste of real adventure on a visa-free film journey of eastern pleasures. On the Polish-Belarusian border we will be stopped by the traffic police who will check if we are not smuggling Georgian watermelons. Russia will make us feel dizzy on a merry-go-round night ride; and in the Armenian village, inhabited by the happiest people on Earth, we will bet our money on a donkey in Donkey Derby. On the way back we shall have fun at the Lithuanian dance, only to wake up in Estonia and have warm Hungarian tripe with onions for breakfast. Staring at some old CRT TV, along with Ukrainians we are going to recall our high-school exams and shed some tears as we always do at any good party. We may all have different passports but we all follow the same principle – we love the east! Let us then become (quoting Švankmajer) conspirators of eastern pleasure!
