Short film that follows a day in the life of the Kiki House of Velvet members. Scattered moments from their everyday experiences in the outside world dissolve when everyone meets again in the safety within their chosen family. Scripted scenes merged with authentic and lived experiences of the characters show how the ballroom culture intertwines with their lives & vice versa.

After a psychedelic party on a factory roof, she has a serious drunken bike accident. Will this give her the courage to become an adult?

Zof’s pathological jealousy leads him to irrational actions and psychotic states. After his girlfriend leaves him, Zof feels closest to his female Stafford dog Lota with whom he spends most of his time. His relationship with the dog reflects his behavior towards people close to him.

A quiet Sunday afternoon in the aristocratic, family home, just before the fall of the Austro-Hungarian empire. Andras and his daughter Zsofia are caught by surprise when Andras’ brother Zoltan intrudes in the intimacy of their home, along with his big family. A poetic, dark, and somewhat humorous social observation, in which family ties and relationships are broken down and dissected to pieces.

The previously ordinary family scenes take on new meaning for Janka and she begins to question the relationships within the family.
