Special program: English Breakfast – films from the Encounters festival

Fight or flight? Ask yourself this question if you suffer from a headache on a Sunday morning … ZUBROFFKA offers the treatment consisting of light English films and traditional English breakfast!

Traditional English breakfast supposedly was developed as a result of famine in the UK – the farmers could usually only eat one warm and hearty meal a day. We will try to prepare you for the last day of the festival serving a delicious set of films, enriched with eggs, bacon, beans and sausage. The energetic, creative and sometimes subversive programme presents the most interesting aspects of the British short film – from feature films and documentaries to animations, music videos and experimental films. The set was prepared by the Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival, one of the most important festivals in the world, presenting promising directors of feature and animated films. Its winners have an open door to the prestigious awards such as the Oscars®, BAFTA, European Film Awards and Cartoon d’Or (the greatest award for animation films).
