At the same time, the unemployment rates also reached record values. The crisis strengthened the society’s need for spirituality, which allowed things not necessarily possible to happen in other times.

Piotr, a good but unlucky angler living in a former Polish colony. He catches the largest and most disgusting fish at the greatest Millennium Fishing Competition. His life from this moment begins to change for the better, and the hero begins to see in her a salutary amulet in the fish that he caught. Unfortunately, at the same time the fish brings apocalyptic destruction to the world. Piotr will have to choose between his own good and his entire island community.

Filip works as a professional movie extra and he always plays roles of dead bodies. On the set of a historical film, he meets Lucy, who happens to be also an extra, playing a role of a dead woman. When laying on top of each other during long film making hours a bittersweet relationship develops between them in the unusual circumstances.
