Ice swimmers go cold water screening – O!PLA Thermo-Trifles, or Grab It by the Horns and Fangs

This will be the third ŻUBROFFKA in history to combine ice swimming with film watching! This time, we’ll be serving up a warming dose of twelve delightfully concise short films from the O!PLA Polish Animation Festival.

This screening – merging the festival’s vibrant energy with Podlasie’s love for icy-water plunges – will try to answer a few puzzling questions. Why should you never, ever feed the pigeons? How is it that, even with six cooks in the kitchen, there’s still nothing to eat? Can a seamstress be just a little bit… pathological? Will a mischief-maker stop making mischief if you tell them to? And where can you have a quick smoke (though we don’t recommend any addictions)?

Remember: ice swimming is a trifle — or perhaps a “thermo-trifle”!
