Controversies, disputes, debates – how to talk about cinema?
The times when written texts were the main medium of film criticism are – fortunately? unfortunately? that’s a debatable question, quite literally – gone. During the workshop, we will talk about spoken criticism: everything that requires the use of voice and rhetorical skills activated on the spot. We will analyse popular podcasts, the nature of film club (DKF) discussions, the demands of radio and television recordings, as well as the dynamics of debates and discussion panels. In short: it will be a talk about talking.
