We present the Jury of journalists from Poland, which will decide which film (entered into the Eastward Window and the Whole Wide World competitions) will receive the best foreign film award!

Joanna Najbor
Film critic and media researcher. She publishes or has published on Vogue.pl, Filmweb, “KINO”, “EKRANy”, and the portals Noizz.pl, Popmoderna, and CzasKultury.pl. She has been awarded in numerous essay and film criticism competitions, including the Grand Prix in the Krzysztof Mętrak Award Competition (2023). A graduate of journalism and film studies at the Jagiellonian University (UJ), she is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at UJ. For several years, she worked on the organization of film festivals, including the Warsaw Film Festival, Transatlantyk, and Millenium Docs Against Gravity.

Igor Kierkosz
Film and literary critic. Winner of the Krzysztof Mętrak Competition (2022), Tymoteusz Karpowicz Competition (2021), and the Krytyk Pisze Competition (2020). He collaborates with „Dwutygodnik”, „KINEM”, „Tygodnik Powszechny”, and „Mint Magazine”. Together with Katarzyna Borowiecka, he hosts the film magazine „W poszukiwaniu dobrego filmu” on TVP2. An enthusiast of mumblecore and skateboard cinema.

Mateusz Demski
Journalist, film critic, and film scholar. He has published in “Przekrój”, “Przegląd”, “Newsweek”, the monthly “KINO”, as well as on portals such as Dwutygodnik, Czas Kultury, Onet.pl, NOIZZ.pl, and newonce.net. The author of several hundred interviews with filmmakers who have been awarded at major international festivals, including Jonathan Glazer (“The Zone of Interest”), Laura Poitras (“All the Beauty and the Bloodshed”), Bong Joon-ho (“Parasite”), the Daniels (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”), and Ari Aster (“Beau Is Afraid”).
