Time to introduce the Jury of Journalists from Poland!

The Jury of Journalists from Poland will decide which film (entered into the Eastward Window and the Whole Wide World competitions) will receive the best foreign film award!

Alicja Nowacka
Film scholar and critic. Curator at the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute. She gives film lectures and organises cultural events. Currently a programmer for the young audience festivals Kino w Trampkach and LET’S DOC. Her articles have been published in Dwutygodnik, “Dialog” and “Ekrany”. Winner of the Grand Prix of the 27th Krzysztof Mętrak Award for Film Critics.

Klara Cykorz
Film critic writing for Dwutygodnik, “Ekrany”, “Dialog” and Filmweb. Winner of the Krzysztof Mętrak Award for Young Film Critics. She ran the “Gadanie” column in Dwutygodnik, devoted to television series. Currently, she hosts the podcast “Chaszcze filmowe” („Film Thickets”).

Piotr Czerkawski
Winner of the Polish Film Institute Award in the Film Criticism category, one of the programme curators of the New Horizons Festival and New Horizons Cinema. Member of the European Film Academy and the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI). Author of the book Drżące kadry. Rozmowy o życiu filmowym w PRL-u (en. Shivering Frames. Conversations about Film Life in the People’s Republic of Poland), and co-author of several film scripts. Vice-president of the Polish Society of Visceral Realists.
