Dear Filmmakers!
No winter is too cold when you have enough love! After the unique, summer edition of the festival, we go back to the old tracks! In 2022, we will meet again in December to celebrate short cinema and interpersonal relationships! 16th edition of ŻUBROFFKA will take place on December 7-11, 2022 in Białystok.
ŻUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival awaits your movies!
From January 14 to May 30, 2022, the selection of films for the competitions at the 16. ISFF ŻUBROFFKA is open!
Our selectors from the submitted movies will select the shortlist for national competitions (Feature.pl, Animation.pl and Documentary.pl), international competitions (Eastward Window, Whole Wide World) and competitions for both national and international filmmakers (Kids, Music video and On the Edge).
The films will compete for the festival’s Grand Prix, main prizes and honorable mentions in each category, for special prizes for the best animation, documentary, story, cinematography and music, as well as for the audience award – the untamed Wild Bison! Polish and foreign journalists will also give their awards.
At the 16. ISFF ŻUBROFFKA, our special screening called Midnight Shorts, presenting B, C and even Z movies, so relished by New Yorkers in the 1970s, will also gain a competition formula. So if you make movies that are bloody, funny, surreal, bursting with sex, lust, humor, trash, that evoke in viewers spasmodic bouts of laughter mixed with screams of terror – this is the competition for you!
The program of the festival, in addition to film screenings from around the world, will also include exhibitions, concerts, film breakfasts, workshops and meetings that we hope will make your time spent at ŻUBROFFKA more enjoyable.
Submissions start on January 14 and end on May 30, 2022!
