I prize in international competition ON THE EDGE – 2.000 PLN

Reality Fragment 160921
dir. Qigemu, UK 2017

Jury: Recognizing the world in which our lives are becoming more ‘curated’ by our own process of individuation through social media and virtual communication, as well as our globally displaced rootedness, we fell under the spell of a challenging and deeply personal film that welcomed us into its intimate, sensorial re-arrangement of memory.

Special mention in national competition ON THE EDGE

Hiatus
dir. Vivian Ostrovsky, USA, Brasil 2018

Jury: A poetic documentary about the Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector, which, despite its short format, still captures and transmits a deep, metaphysical understanding of its subject and managed to romanticize the author’s ambivalent and introverted way that we can all identify with.
