Latin Film Breakfast

Our friends from the Gran Via Spanish language school, along with us, embrace cinema and food in the Latin way – as a lifestyle. We invite you to a true mercado latino, a perfect mix of films, food, and Iberian culture!
This year, we’ll serve you a truly delicious Latin vibe. We’ll start in Colombia, where, in a rural resort a few hours from Bogotá, amidst a relaxing vacation atmosphere, we’ll follow the fragile and flawed pursuit of happiness by the characters. Next, in Santiago, Chile’s capital, we’ll dive into a dreamy, punk-queer love story. For a moment we will be stuck in the Argentinian nouveau riche suburbs, and finally, we will visit Puerto Caimán, where the swirling mists and treacherous waters of the Amazon River are inhabited by spirits, people and animals. Where magic and sacred rituals are at the heart of a balanced relationship between humans and nature.
Cuisine is an essential part of our morning journeys; we love to explore local flavours while hunting for cinematic gems – and we encourage you to do the same! We’ll do our best to make you feel like you’re at a beachside bar, enjoying a variety of delicacies. In addition to films, you’ll be treated to delightful tapas, cheeses, cold cuts, flamenquín, olives, and spicy peppers. For dessert, there will be arroz con leche and a toast to celebrate the health of 18-year-old ŻUBROFFKA!
