Screendance, videodance, dance film, cinedance… dance for camera. Today this hybrid form comprises a broader and broader spectrum of opportunities, joining together varied genres of cinema, visual and media arts. However, its basic means of expression always remain movement and dance.
Screendance is a provocation. It encourages exploring the unknown and discovering possibilities. Both for the author and the audience, the real pleasure is the adventure of realizing what can come out of combing dance and film together.
