ZUBROFFKA special GERMAN FOCUS

In 2015, the Grenzlandfilmtage Selb celebrated its 38th edition with record attendance. Annual, the small festival with great tradition presents an interesting mix of national and international feature, – documentary and short films, completed by a special program for children and youngsters. Since its foundation, the focus of the festival, taking place in the Northeast of Bavaria, is put on the Eastern European film. To show and overcome the boundaries – a former borderland in the modern heart of Europe faces this challenge. Here, parallels and communalities with our partners in the far east of Poland are drawn. Ten years ago a festival friendship began – which meanwhile goes by far beyond the ordinary film business. In spite of the great geographical distance that separates both partners, the visits at the Partner Festivals are an annual, extremely pleasant Must. We, the team of Grenzlandfilmtage days Selb congratulate our friends of the ZUBROFFKA Festival for the tenth anniversary and wish you a lot of exciting festivals in the future.
