Slovak Film Breakfast
December 7, 11:30
Zmiana Klimatu, 6 Warszawska St
tickets: 8 PLN – available at the Forum cinema’s box office and on bilety.bok.bialystok.pl
The typical breakfast eaten by our southern neighbors is not so much different from a Polish breakfast. Most often it’s bread with butter, cheese or ham, boiled or fried eggs, jams and nutritious honey. The uniqueness of a Slovak breakfast consists of their delicious native products such as their one-of-a-kind cheeses (bryndza, parenica, ostiepok, korbacik) or sausages (klobasy)!
Specially selected short films from Slovakia and typical Slovak delicacies (bryndza, škvarky, lokše, borovička) will become our essential guide through their 30 years of freedom, peace, capitalism, democracy and independence.
So join us in front of the screen and at the table to celebrate life and, after the showing, toast our neighbors, their beautiful country and their young democracy with a glass of an excellent Slovak wine. Enjoy!
