The decision has been made: A popular skate park is to be demolished and the site is to make way for a modern housing complex. The 16-year-old skater Lucy does not let this get her down and tries to prevent the construction project. But even the foreman Ralf, does not let the rebellion of the young people sit on his hands, until both face each other in a final protest action.

During her beloved father’s funeral, eleven-year-old Tosia meets his mistress with a five-year-old son Kajtek. Tosia tries to drive the unwanted guests out of the funeral at all costs, eventually taking it out on Kajtek. It turns out, however, that the boy whom Tosia perceived as an enemy becomes a link between her and her deceased father and helps her through this difficult experience.
