ŻUBROFFKA Special: Short 101 Reykjavík

Of Iceland’s 332.750 residents, 213.760 live in the Reykjavik region – with 37 percent, or 122.550, within the capital’s city limits. In this little big city filmmakers and other citizens live and interact together and this program gives a little taste of what is happening in the city through these 8 short films that are all shot within the city limits. These short films will give you some insights into Icelandic hot tub culture, the economic crisis and even the nightlife in Reykjavík to mention few subjects. In the program and get to see Reykjavík city or Smoky Bay in many different lights through the films of the most up and coming Icelandic filmmakers.
