Film Submissions for the 20th ŻUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival

Dear viewers and filmmakers! The 20th anniversary edition of ŻUBROFFKA is upon us, and will take place in Białystok and Podlasie from December 2-6, 2026.

Here, harvest time begins in spring!

After a very long winter, the Białystok bison are hungry for new cinematic experiences, so – urged on by the rays of the April sun – we are announcing the submissions for 10 competitions of our Festival!

From the submitted films, our selectors will select titles for Polish competitions (Fabuła.pl, Animacja.pl, and Dokument.pl), international competitions (Eastward Window, Whole Wide World), and competitions open to creators from Poland and abroad (Kids, Youth, Music Video, On the Edge, Midnight Shorts).

The films will compete for the Festival’s Grand Prix, main prizes and honorable mentions in each category, special awards for best animation, documentary, feature film, cinematography, and music, as well as the Audience Award – the untamed Wild Bison! Polish and international journalists and the Young Jury will also award their prizes.

The submission is open from April 2 to August 31, 2026!
