Elena Rubashevska
Journalist and film critic, FIPRESCI Editor-in-Chief. She worked as a director and screenwriter, creating media content for non-governmental organizations and socially responsible businesses such as WWF, OSCE, and UN, with a special focus on projects related to the East of Ukraine. As an editor, she ran the website kinoukraine.com. Author of the series of video lectures and a book dedicated to Ukrainian cinema. She is also a program coordinator of the OKO International Ethnographic Film Festival, which takes place in the Ukrainian region of Bessarabia. After the outbreak of war in Ukraine in 2022, she became a part of the EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography (Poland).
Jana Bébarová
Editor-in-chief of the Czech film magazine 25fps. Currently teaching at the Audiovisual Arts Studio at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic. Programmer of Noir Film Festival, held at Český Šternberk Castle, Czech Republic.
Petra Meterc
Film critic and translator. For years, she worked at the oldest alternative community radio in Europe, Radio Študent. She has published her literary translations in magazines and as books. She writes film reviews, regularly publishes in various film magazines and works for the culture newsroom of the Slovene national radio programme. She collaborates with different festivals, among them Animateka and Kino Otok – Cinema Isola, and is also the programmer of the Festival of migrant film in Ljubljana. She is a member of the International Federation of Film Critics FIPRESCI and the winner of the Ekran magazine award for best young film critic (2020).
