Ali Asgari (Iran) – was born in Tehran. A graduate of the Berlinale Talent Campus 2013. His short film More Than Two Hours was in competition in Cannes (2013) and Sundance (2014). His other film, The Baby, premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2014. Ali’s latest short, produced in Iran The Silence, premiered at Cannes this year. His short films have been screened at over 500 world film festivals, winning over 100 awards. Ali has written the script for his first feature film Disappearance thanks to the Cannes Film Festival program Cinefondation Residence.

Joanna Łapińska (Poland) – comes from Białystok, a member of European Film Academy. From 2002 to 2016 associated with T-Mobile New Horizons IFF where for 10 years was the Artistic Director. Since September she has been the Director of Programming at Transatlantic Festival.

Carmen Gray (New Zealand/Great Britain) – a journalist and film critic, writing for Sight & Sound, Dazed & Confused, Screen International and The Guardian. Programmer and selector at Berlin Critics’ Week.

Andrius Blazevicius (Lithuania) – has directed six short films, the latest one Ten Reasons was awarded as the Best Lithuanian Short Film in 2012. The Saint is his debut feature film, premiered at Busan Film Festival and Warsaw Film Festival. It won The Special Jury Prize at Lystopad FF in Minsk.

Luca Tóth (Hungary) – awarded at Annecy Festival, a representative of a very talented generation of young Hungarian animators. Her latest animation Superbia (2016) premiered this year in Cannes.
