Kijek/Adamski

Katarzyna Kijek and Przemysław Adamski are an extraordinarily versatile directing duo, working in absolute synergy. They are constantly innovating, with skills in live action, stop frame, hand-drawn animation and video postproduction. They make music videos, commercials and other short films. Their works are known around the world and screened at many festivals, each time arousing enthusiasm of audiences and critics. They were appreciated by the curators of Pictoplasma Festival (Berlin), Short Shorts (Tokyo), LA Film Fest and Expotoons (Buenos Aires). In 2014 they made it to an exhibition on achievements of the most outstanding contemporary animation artists in La Gaite Lyrique Gallery in Paris!
They have awards from the most important festivals of animation – Annecy and Zagreb, two Yach statuettes (Grand Prix and Best Animation), nominations in two editions of UK Music Video Award and D&AD commercial contest, four nominations and gold at KTR 2014.

Ujkan Hysaj

Ujkan Hysaj is an award winning director and producer born in 1984 in Kosovo. He graduated from the Film and Photography Institute “Gjon Mili” in Kosovo (Director of Photography) and University of Prishtina (Film Directing). The films he worked on were shown at many international festivals, such as Melbourne Film Festival, Cinequest, Warsaw FF, Tampere, Cleveland, Cine de Huesca, Abu Dhabi etc. His last short film “Kolona” received up to 16 awards at different festivals: Cleveland Film Festival 2013 – Best Live Action Short (Oscar Qualifier for Nomination), Alpinale Short Film Festival 2013 – Price of the Jury, Rome Independent Film Festival 2013 – Best International Short, the 12th Dokufest – Audience Award, Warsaw Film Festival 2012 – Audience Award, and others. In 2013 Husaj was awarded by Kosovo Minister of Culture. Recently, he has participated in the European Film Academy project “A Sunday in the Country”.

A film director, cameraman, photographer, documentarian, English teacher. For several years, worked as a war photojournalist for “Gazeta Wyborcza”, a multiple winner of Polish press photo contests for his picture stories from Poland, Iraq, Iran, Sri Lanka, Georgia, and Great Britain. A member of the European Film Academy (EFA). The author (as a director, screenwriter and editor) of films “Paparazzi” (2011) and “Arena” (2013). His documentary “Paparazzi”, about this arousing a lot of negative emotions profession, has won numerous awards in Poland and abroad, including the award for the Best Documentary at ŻUBROFFKA in 2012.
