Call for entries begins!

We are now accepting submissions for the jubilee 10th edition of the International Short Film Festival ŻUBROFFKA organized by Białystok Cultural Centre. The festival will be held from 2 – 6 December 2015 in Bialystok. On behalf of the organizers we are inviting artists to submit their films for the competitions. The best films will be rewarded by the jury and the audience.

Over the years the Festival has been building a cultural bridge between East and West – ŻUBROFFKA is the event cumulating the energy of both these worlds. Selectors usually choose about 100 of the most interesting films (out of more than a thousand!) for 7 competitions. There are also special screenings of short productions from different parts of the world.

As usual, in 2015 film screenings will be held in Bialystok and partner-towns of north-eastern Poland. It is worth noting that the Festival is not just films. During ŻUBROFFKA you can also expect energetic concerts, meetings with artists, exhibitions, panel discussions and workshops. The new visuals will be developed by Iza Sroka (based on the logo by Kijek / Adamski duo).

Attention! This year’s novelty is the competition for the best music video – the competition is open to artists from Poland and abroad!
