The program prepared by Cinema Perpetuum Mobile ISFF features the latest juicy works by the young documentalist generation. The hour and a half mix was made of: a newsreel created from short interviews with Minsk citizens; video investigation where the history of the song and the city go hand-in-hand; bold portrait of a strip-dancer from a province; painter’s insightful image of the city he dwells in; portrait of a poet and musician of Afro-Belarusian origin. These different though essential ingredients form the image of contemporary Belarus and its people.
